Ramiro Barreto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thiago Furtado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Arsenal de Gols F.C's Allan Dante got a free kick in the 24th minute. Basílio Tande received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Oscar Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Davi Fontes to make the kick off. 60 minutes into the match, Basílio Tande had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Oscar Azevedo. The crowd rose to their feet as Thiago Furtado kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ramiro Barreto. That made the score 1-4 in the 70 minute of play. Ramiro Barreto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Carlos Arantes in the 78th minute of play. When Reynaldo Pires came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the UPTEXTIL.COM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reynaldo Pires couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Duda Moura during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Arsenal de Gols F.C getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Duda Moura hit a great ball. In the 96th minute, José Carlos Arantes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ramiro Barreto. The goal made the score 1-5. UPTEXTIL.COM's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
