The supporters of C.A.JORGOVAN booed when Florida Gulf Coast was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Higinio Jerano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristian Eufemio hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Florida Gulf Coast's Aurelio Erruki got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Higinio Jerano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hernan Orlan having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Martin Kinsen to make the kick off. Lucio Geofredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Kaab in the 52nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Higinio Jerano could shoot a difficult shot in the 55th minute, which Hernan Orlan however easily saved by the left post. Lucio Geofredo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Kinsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Hernan Orlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Erruki in the 58th minute of play. Conrado Iliana hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 63rd minute, Conrado Iliana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 65 minutes into the game, one of Florida Gulf Coast:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Lázaro Qwinton took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 68th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lucio Geofredo. Florida Gulf Coast's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Lucio Geofredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingos Reynardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. C.A.JORGOVAN's Simon Malvin got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 87 minutes, Domingos Reynardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A.JORGOVAN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Domingos Reynardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gabriel Sanchez kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. The C.A.JORGOVAN players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
