An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Bermund in the 16th minute of play forced Serbia y Mantonegro's goalkeeper Roberto Ciano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute, Damian Unax ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roberto Ciano was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Oscar Bermund managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marlin FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Oscar Bermund was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roberto Ciano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maximo Errapel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. 41 minutes into the match, Damian Unax had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roberto Ciano. Serbia y Mantonegro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Damian Unax was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Roberto Ciano came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Marlin FC's Damian Unax. But to his dismay, Damian Unax quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. In the 47th minute, Gerardo Calisto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Marlin FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hector Guillelmo to strike the kick off in the second half. Tadeo Gilesindo charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tadeo Gilesindo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
