Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Cosme Mel started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Cepicó FC's Eusebio Huly got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leonardo Frichoso made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Edgard Vela sent off a good shot on target. Fidel Bartolome was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 12 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute, one of Big Babousa:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Big Babousa. The referee gave Cepicó FC a penalty, 14 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Melchor Librado, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Big Babousa's Camilo Santiago. 0-1. Adolfo Jorrin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Frichoso having to interfere. 25 minutes into the game, Edgard Vela was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Big Babousa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cepicó FC the free kick. Edgard Vela hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Adolfo Jorrin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Isidoro Mendebal hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Freddy Paul blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leonardo Frichoso having to make a save. When Amadeo Cruz fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cepicó FC's protests and gave Amadeo Cruz a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Big Babousa booed when Cepicó FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amadeo Cruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Melchor Librado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Camilo Santiago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Asur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Cepicó FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mariano Asur stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Camilo Santiago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Salamon in the 52nd minute of play. Camilo Santiago was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eusebio Huly showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 55 minute of play. Freddy Paul's late challenge caught a Cepicó FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Freddy Paul helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Big Babousa getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Freddy Paul hit a great ball. Amadeo Cruz might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Camilo Santiago. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amadeo Cruz ran back to his position shaking his head. 71 minutes into the game, Roque Larra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cepicó FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Big Babousa the free kick. After 71 played minutes Cepicó FC got a freekick which was hit by Roque Larra. After a rather tough play, Big Babousa's Adolfo Jorrin got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Eusebio Huly recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Big Babousa's Camilo Santiago proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Big Babousa from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Cepicó FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Tobias Abalos hit a great ball. Freddy Paul struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Leonardo Frichoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Big Babousa. Big Babousa's Freddy Paul got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Cepicó FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
