Nicolas Cordarryl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaudencio Flor in the 16th minute of the match. In the 18th minute Bruno Afonso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Cordarryl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfonso Amato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Cordarryl having to interfere. Mariano Selmo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godfredo Aritza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 27 played minutes El Tiki-Tiki de Cappa got a freekick which was hit by Gaudencio Flor. Martin Pirmin's late challenge caught a La Cosa Nostra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Martin Pirmin helped the player get up and apologised. Martin Pirmin hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Mateo Joachim kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, La Cosa Nostra's goal looked a bit too open when Modesto Vitin came free, but Nicolas Cordarryl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicolas Cordarryl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaudencio Flor in the 44th minute of play. After the first half El Tiki-Tiki de Cappa were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfonso Amato stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
