After a defensive mix-up in Apocalípticos & Caóticos's zone, Florencio Opilano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfonso Eguzki came out of the goal and Florencio Opilano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Cayetano Venceslas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aureliano Pacifico was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Florencio Telesforo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfonso Eguzki having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Academia Club's goalkeeper Aureliano Pacifico had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cayetano Venceslas. Alfonso Eguzki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorio Feliz in the 25th minute of play. Aureliano Pacifico stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cayetano Venceslas's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Academia Club's Aureliano Pacifico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cayetano Venceslas in the 33rd minute of play. In the 40th minute of the match, Clemente Txema tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Aureliano Pacifico saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Aureliano Pacifico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cayetano Venceslas in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Florencio Telesforo was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Apocalípticos & Caóticos's goalkeeper Alfonso Eguzki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Florencio Opilano. In the 57th play minute Florencio Opilano came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Alfonso Eguzki. 0-1. Aureliano Pacifico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albano Rudolfo in the 61st minute of play. Florencio Telesforo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Apocalípticos & Caóticos's Nereo Salomone was substituted for Albano Rudolfo. Apocalípticos & Caóticos made a substitution. Cipriano Bilintx replaced Abel Iaki. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cayetano Venceslas in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aureliano Pacifico prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 72 minutes into the game, Cayetano Venceslas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Aureliano Pacifico was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cayetano Venceslas during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 75th match minute, Apocalípticos & Caóticos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cayetano Venceslas to maneuver through the defense. In the 76th minute Florencio Telesforo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfonso Eguzki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute, Cayetano Venceslas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Apocalípticos & Caóticos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cayetano Venceslas in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aureliano Pacifico prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aureliano Pacifico came out of the goal and Victoriano Erauso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Victoriano Erauso fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Apocalípticos & Caóticos's protests and gave Victoriano Erauso a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Academia Club booed when Apocalípticos & Caóticos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victoriano Erauso didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96thth minute of the game Cayetano Venceslas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Academia Club's Aureliano Pacifico was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Apocalípticos & Caóticos's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
