Utopía Muerta FC's Severo Sustrai proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Utopía Muerta FC from getting a goal against them. After 16 played minutes Utopía Muerta FC got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Guerau. 17 minutes into the match, Gutenberg's Miguel Silvino broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 19 minutes of play, Utopía Muerta FC's Uriel Beat made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Inocencio Gimenez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Uriel Beat scored 0-2 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Inocencio Gimenez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Andres Leizarraga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 35 played minutes Utopía Muerta FC got a freekick which was hit by Uriel Beat. Cecilio Txordon charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cecilio Txordon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Eduardo Oton fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gutenberg's protests and gave Eduardo Oton a yellow card for diving instead. The Gutenberg players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Utopía Muerta FC were winning 0-2.

After 89 minutes, Santo Dominguez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gutenberg and the Utopía Muerta FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Santo Dominguez kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Utopía Muerta FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
