Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Francisco Abascal started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Gualterio Mouricio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigi Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Gerardo Arnau fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Piquirenda FC's protests and gave Gerardo Arnau a yellow card for diving instead. In the 5th minute, Gerardo Arnau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Piquirenda FC booed when STARK F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Guerrero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gualterio Mouricio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gigi Buffon having to interfere. Gigi Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Perutxo in the 17th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Maximiliano Perutxo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Piquirenda FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 32 minutes into the game, Piquirenda FC's Maximiliano Perutxo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gigi Buffon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Gaudencio Emeterio was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 36 minutes into the match. After 36 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Piquirenda FC! When the match had been going on for 38 minutes, STARK F.C.'s Romeo Lizer got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Nestor Mogel. 41 minutes into the match, Tiburcio Cerilo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gigi Buffon. STARK F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tiburcio Cerilo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Piquirenda FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Francisco Abascal scored to the left of an out of position Nestor Mogel, making the score, 2-3. Piquirenda FC made a substitution. Daniel Selatse replaced Gualterio Mouricio. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maximiliano Perutxo was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Piquirenda FC's Tiburcio Cerilo got a free kick in the 54th minute. Gigi Buffon came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Piquirenda FC's Daniel Selatse. But to his dismay, Daniel Selatse quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. Maximiliano Perutxo came free with the goalkeeper in the 61st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gigi Buffon could save by the left post. The supporters of STARK F.C. booed when Piquirenda FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximiliano Perutxo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Selatse in the 63rd minute of play forced STARK F.C.'s goalkeeper Gigi Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the match, STARK F.C.'s Oscar Guerrero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nestor Mogel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Piquirenda FC's Nestor Mogel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Arias in the 68th minute of play. Daniel Selatse kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. STARK F.C. made a substitution. Ricardo Uhin replaced Guillermo Ovando. In the 70th minute, Daniel Selatse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to STARK F.C. getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Jimeno Sal hit a great ball. Gigi Buffon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maximiliano Perutxo in the 76th minute. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by STARK F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Aldo Isias was slow to take the kick. During this time Piquirenda FC's players had a chance to rest. Piquirenda FC's Aldo Isias was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gigi Buffon in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Piquirenda FC's Aldo Isias shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 80th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Gigi Buffon but with some difficulty. 81 minutes into the match, Daniel Selatse had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gigi Buffon. STARK F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Selatse was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-5. After 86 played minutes, Piquirenda FC's Justo Casado shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gigi Buffon came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Piquirenda FC reached it. In the 88th minute of the match, Maximiliano Perutxo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gigi Buffon was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Everardo Berenguer fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Piquirenda FC's protests and gave Everardo Berenguer a yellow card for diving instead. Everardo Berenguer kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Maximiliano Perutxo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 98 minutes, Justo Casado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Piquirenda FC and the STARK F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Piquirenda FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
