Seating: 35, VIP seats: 0) Santos FC's Kris Marks started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 played minutes Waialua got a freekick which was hit by Lonnie Lusk. After 3 played minutes, Santos FC's Kris Marks shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Erik Cabrera came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Santos FC reached it. Erik Cabrera came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Santos FC's Desmond Rowell. But to his dismay, Desmond Rowell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, Santos FC's Homer Diggs got a free kick in the 6th minute. Erik Cabrera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leon Burr went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Waialua's Erik Cabrera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrick Orlinsky in the 15th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kris Marks in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erik Cabrera saved Waialua from getting behind. In the 22ndth minute of the game Kris Marks who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Waialua's Erik Cabrera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Earl Strange fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Waialua's protests and gave Earl Strange a yellow card for diving instead. 0-4 became the score in the 24th minute when Desmond Rowell elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kris Marks in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erik Cabrera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Santos FC fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Santos FC's Kris Marks looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some careless play in the Waialua defense, Rodrick Orlinsky kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erik Cabrera. The Waialua fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erik Cabrera should have stopped the shot. Erik Cabrera came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Santos FC's Desmond Rowell. But to his dismay, Desmond Rowell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Disappointed in the 0-7 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rich Lawson was the one to do the kick off. Erik Cabrera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kris Marks in the 55th minute. Rodrick Orlinsky could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Erik Cabrera made a huge save. With an all-out effort, Santos FC's Erik Cabrera threw himself towards the right post 58 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Desmond Rowell, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Waialua's Erik Cabrera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Waialua from getting a goal against them. Rodrick Orlinsky sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute, Santos FC's Kris Marks ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Erik Cabrera. Erik Cabrera yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-9. Kris Markss short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got Erik Cabrera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 69 minutes into the match, Waialua's goalkeeper Erik Cabrera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kris Marks. The crowd rose to their feet as Rodrick Orlinsky kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Erik Cabrera. That made the score 0-10 in the 71 minute of play. When Santos FC's Kris Marks in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Waialua's goalie prevented a goal. With his leg Erik Cabrera managed to avoid a goal in the 83rdth minute, when Santos FC's Kris Marks fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After having played for 85 minutes, Bruce Singer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Waialua's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruce Singer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 86 minutes into the match, Kris Marks notched a goal, 0-12, to the right of Waialua's Erik Cabrera. Erik Cabrera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A hard shot by Homer Diggs from long distance, 93 minutes into the match, got Erik Cabrera's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After a rather tough play, Waialua's Bruce Singer got a free kick in the 94th minute. When the final whistle sounded Santos FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Waialua.
