Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jaime Maliaño started the match with the kick off. In the 7th minute, Valdo Galdamiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ramon María Cortés kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. CD Municipal's Silvino Oña proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save CD Municipal from getting a goal against them. In the 23rd minute, one of CD Municipal:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for CD Municipal. In the 34th match minute, CD Municipal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cedro Villaelrriego to maneuver through the defense. 38 minutes into the match, CD Municipal's goalkeeper Silvino Oña had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Henrico Abeliuk. After a rather tough play, CD Municipal's Santxo Saboya got a free kick in the 41st minute. Silvino Oña made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Rosa in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th match minute, CD Municipal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carmelo Arruda to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Henrico Abeliuk to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Assueko F.C. booed when CD Municipal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Meruelo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, CD Municipal's Jaime Maliaño got a free kick in the 55th minute. 56 minutes into the match, CD Municipal's goal looked a bit too open when Ramon María Cortés came free, but Silvino Oña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silvino Oña made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrico Abeliuk in the 59th minute of play. After a rather tough play, CD Municipal's Santxo Saboya got a free kick in the 71st minute. After having played for 76 minutes, Santxo Saboya managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CD Municipal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santxo Saboya was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Carmelo Arruda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Uriel Duñabeitia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carmelo Arruda in the 88th minute. The supporters of CD Municipal booed when Assueko F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tamariz Figueroa didn't get a good kick on the ball. CD Municipal's Silvino Oña played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingo Martínez in the 91st minute of play. Carmelo Arruda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
