Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Remigio Pisciña kicked off to start the match. Universitario's Remigio Pisciña got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Robbie Sargent during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Omar Bowers who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Quirze Millon when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ekialde Viedes kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Universitario's zone, Calvin Brand stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Quirze Millon came out of the goal and Calvin Brand tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 21st minute, Remigio Pisciña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Omar Bowers's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Quirze Millon was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Omar Bowers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quirze Millon having to interfere. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Omar Bowers sped through Universitario's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Quirze Millon. After 82 played minutes, Universitario's Pitin Herdozain shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Joey Bush came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Universitario reached it. In the 88th minute Omar Bowers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quirze Millon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Remigio Pisciña got free with Joey Bush in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The River tu grato nombre fans cheered their team off the field, for while Universitario had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
