Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Giancarlo Cabrito kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute, Nibiru X's Giancarlo Cabrito ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Brice Leach. Brice Leach yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Giancarlo Cabrito got free with Brice Leach in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Amador Abud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th match minute, Varennes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ellsworth Lindsay to maneuver through the defense. Gregory Nelson hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Brice Leach was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Podador Poveda. After a rather tough play, Varennes's Lee Coffman got a free kick in the 18th minute. Gale Laliberté hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Giancarlo Cabrito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Amador Abud fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brice Leach having to interfere. Nibiru X's Giancarlo Cabrito got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 32nd minute Amador Abud shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brice Leach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Varennes's goalkeeper Brice Leach, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Brice Leach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amador Abud in the 42nd minute of the match. Brice Leach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raúlo Garriga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ellsworth Lindsay made a kick off. The supporters of Nibiru X booed when Varennes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lee Coffman didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Varennes's Gale Laliberté got a free kick in the 55th minute. Varennes's Brenton Carrasco was substituted for Gale Laliberté. In the 57th match minute, Varennes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gale Laliberté to maneuver through the defense. Amador Abud blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Brice Leach having to make a save. When Lazare Long fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Varennes's protests and gave Lazare Long a yellow card for diving instead. Podador Poveda, 61 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 62nd minute, Elias Pereira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ellsworth Lindsay in the 65th minute of play forced Nibiru X's goalkeeper Amadeo Rosselot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Danél Iparraguirre hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Randell McCullough managed to get in a good position for a shot. Varennes's supporters rose to their feet, but Randell McCullough was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amadeo Rosselot breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Amadeo Rosselot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ellsworth Lindsay in the 69th minute of play. Reynaldo Baros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Brice Leach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Varennes players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Nibiru X.
