In the 14th minute, CANTERANOS DMS's Vicente Ser seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Vicente Ser the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of CANTERANOS DMS protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Vicente Ser had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 13th minute of the game. One of CANTERANOS DMS:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of OZDEMIR FC:s goal. Elvar Tender walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. If Carlos Alcega had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the match, CANTERANOS DMS's goal looked a bit too open when Lon Regueiro came free, but Ortíz Relloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of CANTERANOS DMS booed when OZDEMIR FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rik Arteaga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Moisés Anderica could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Gaston Durango made a huge save. Ortíz Relloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edelmiro Villalcazar in the 34th minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, CANTERANOS DMS's goal looked a bit too open when Mazuste Villafuentes came free, but Ortíz Relloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlos Alcega to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Rafael Quizan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 53rd minute Lon Regueiro collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. After 54 played minutes CANTERANOS DMS got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Quizan. After a defensive mix-up in CANTERANOS DMS's zone, Elvar Tender stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ortíz Relloso came out of the goal and Elvar Tender tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mazuste Villafuentes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ortíz Relloso having to interfere. Ortíz Relloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edelmiro Villalcazar in the 63rd minute of the match. Ortíz Relloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mazuste Villafuentes, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Co Quito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ortíz Relloso having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, CANTERANOS DMS's goal looked a bit too open when Co Quito came free, but Ortíz Relloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Co Quito charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Co Quito the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Co Quito hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Elvar Tender's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ortíz Relloso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Mazuste Villafuentes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ortíz Relloso having to interfere. Co Quito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ortíz Relloso having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, CANTERANOS DMS could leave the field as winners, despite OZDEMIR FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
