Amado Galeno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzalo Canto in the 18th minute of play. 27 minutes in the game, Damaso Orlin fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Teodoro Dundan having to interfere. Amado Galeno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnau Venegas in the 30th minute of the match. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arnau Venegas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Navalito's Teodoro Dundan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eleuterio Confesor in the 51st minute of play. Jorge Vicente Chavez made in the 60th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Racing Club's Gabriel Ospetsu.
