Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Motala AIF's Tony Skarkman started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Patrick Hanselmann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Adriano Tolin made a huge save. A collision led to Motala AIF getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Sam Banzer hit a great ball. In the 8th minute, Lucas Caduff fired a really elegant long shot, but Adriano Tolin threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. In the 18th minute, Liechtenstein's Patrick Hanselmann dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 22 minutes into the match, Motala AIF's goalkeeper Adriano Tolin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Patrick Hanselmann. When Tony Skarkman came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Motala AIF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tony Skarkman couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Motala AIF's Sebastian Lope got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Patrick Hanselmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adriano Tolin having to interfere. Jacob Josef Zurflüh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcin Cebula in the 41st minute of play. After 44 played minutes Motala AIF got a freekick which was hit by Ralph Zünd.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patrick Hanselmann to make the kick off. After 60 played minutes Motala AIF got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Lope. Liechtenstein's Ismaele Santo Schurti was substituted for Roger Meister. Liechtenstein made a substitution. Lukas Kathan replaced Dominik Klaus. The supporters of Liechtenstein booed when Motala AIF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Lope didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lukas Kathan in the 63rd minute of play forced Motala AIF's goalkeeper Adriano Tolin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th match minute, Motala AIF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ralph Zünd to maneuver through the defense. Adriano Tolin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrick Hanselmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patrick Hanselmann took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adriano Tolin. Adriano Tolin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Marcin Cebula hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Adriano Tolin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lukas Kathan in the 77th minute of play. Liechtenstein's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lucas Caduff in the 79th minute. Motala AIF's Adriano Tolin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lukas Kathan in the 84th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Lukas Kathan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adriano Tolin was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Patrick Hanselmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adriano Tolin having to interfere. Sam Banzer's late challenge caught a Liechtenstein's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sam Banzer helped the player get up and apologised. Sam Banzer kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. In the 89th minute Lukas Kathan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adriano Tolin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacob Josef Zurflüh made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tony Skarkman in the 91st minute. Motala AIF's Adriano Tolin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lukas Kathan in the 94th minute of play. After 95 played minutes Liechtenstein got a freekick which was hit by Lukas Domuzeti. For all the effort they put into the match, the Motala AIF players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Liechtenstein.
