After a defensive mix-up in RPF Grabarze Olesnica's zone, Léo Souza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cyprian Orling came out of the goal and Léo Souza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Krzysztof Siembab got free with Lauro Leme in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 36 played minutes RPF Grabarze Olesnica got a freekick which was hit by Zachariasz Bronicki. Itajara AD's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Zachariasz Bronicki scored to the left of an out of position Lauro Leme, making the score, 4-0. Eliseu Paulista took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cyprian Orling. RPF Grabarze Olesnica's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Léo Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Krzysztof Siembab managed to get in a good position for a shot. RPF Grabarze Olesnica's supporters rose to their feet, but Krzysztof Siembab was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lauro Leme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cipriano Capixaba stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
