The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ludwig Jetzek showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Alexandrie CF were awarded a corner in the 7th minute after A.S. Minerul Anina's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ruslan Tikhonov took the corner. The corner ended in Ruslan Tikhonov almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but A.S. Minerul Anina's Ludwig Jetzek did a great save. Isaac Andrews's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ludwig Jetzek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Alexandrie CF's Isaac Andrews sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ludwig Jetzek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Alexandrie CF getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Émile Besnard hit a great ball. The long shot by Sandro Vander in the 14th minute really tested Vítor Baia's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Ludwig Jetzek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Émile Besnard, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind A.S. Minerul Anina's goalkeeper Ludwig Jetzek, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 22 minutes into the match, Alexandrie CF's goalkeeper Vítor Baia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Forrest Sousa. Ludwig Jetzek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isaac Andrews went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Isaac Andrews struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Ludwig Jetzek didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alexandrie CF. In the 28th minute, Perry Priest hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the match, A.S. Minerul Anina's goal looked a bit too open when Ruslan Tikhonov came free, but Ludwig Jetzek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Alexandrie CF's Isaac Andrews sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ludwig Jetzek narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ludwig Jetzek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaac Andrews, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Ludwig Jetzek was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bart Smith in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vítor Baia saved Alexandrie CF from getting behind. After some careless play in the A.S. Minerul Anina defense, Francisco Conceicão kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ludwig Jetzek. The A.S. Minerul Anina fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ludwig Jetzek should have stopped the shot. In the 41stth minute of the game Isaac Andrews who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.S. Minerul Anina's Ludwig Jetzek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Francisco Conceicão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Ludwig Jetzek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Isaac Andrews had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ludwig Jetzek. A.S. Minerul Anina's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isaac Andrews was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4.
The supporters of Alexandrie CF booed when A.S. Minerul Anina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Perry Priest didn't get a good kick on the ball. Francisco Conceicão received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ludwig Jetzek came out and tried to block the shot, but Francisco Conceicão slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 55th minute. Francisco Conceicão came free with the goalkeeper in the 59th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ludwig Jetzek could save by the left post. A.S. Minerul Anina's defense didn't have a chance, in the 61st minute, when Francisco Conceicão scored to the left of an out of position Ludwig Jetzek, making the score, 0-6. In the 64th match minute, A.S. Minerul Anina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Perry Priest to maneuver through the defense. Francisco Conceicão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Ludwig Jetzek made a huge save. Alexandrie CF's Vítor Baia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mattias Brandt in the 74th minute of play. In the 75thth minute of the game Mattias Brandt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alexandrie CF's Vítor Baia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Francisco Conceicão in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ludwig Jetzek saved A.S. Minerul Anina from getting behind. 83 minutes into the game, Francisco Conceicão recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ludwig Jetzek. Francisco Conceicão showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. Alexandrie CF made a substitution. Sérgio Oliveira replaced Silvestre Perrando. After a defensive mix-up in A.S. Minerul Anina's zone, Isaac Andrews stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ludwig Jetzek came out of the goal and Isaac Andrews tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alexandrie CF's Mateus Uribe was substituted for Francisco Conceicão. In the 96th minute of the match Alexandrie CF got a corner. A.S. Minerul Anina's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ruslan Tikhonov ran over to the corner to take the kick.
