When Mountain West FC's Chris Reyna in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Atlético Patoruzu's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chris Reyna in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aldo Hawk saved Atlético Patoruzu from getting behind. Wiley Boyle could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Roy Holman made a huge save. A hard shot 28 in the game by Gualterio Aguirre from a close distance when the talented Roy Holman managed to make a qualified save. Mountain West FC's players were relieved. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valentim Leão got free with Roy Holman in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gualterio Aguirre in the 32nd minute of play forced Mountain West FC's goalkeeper Roy Holman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roy Holman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gualterio Aguirre in the 34th minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Atlético Patoruzu's Gualterio Aguirre dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Mountain West FC's Roy Holman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Mountain West FC from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gualterio Aguirre made a kick off. Roy Holman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentim Leão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mountain West FC's Roy Holman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gualterio Aguirre in the 57th minute of play. Roy Holman came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético Patoruzu's Gualterio Aguirre. But to his dismay, Gualterio Aguirre quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Aldo Hawk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Reyna in the 63rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Mountain West FC's Sammy Nixon got a free kick in the 64th minute. 65 minutes into the match, Mountain West FC's goal looked a bit too open when Moreno Torricelli came free, but Roy Holman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute, Valentim Leão made a precise shot to the right of Roy Holman. Mountain West FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Aldo Hawk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chris Reyna's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Roy Holman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentim Leão, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After 76 played minutes Mountain West FC got a freekick which was hit by Jayson German. After some careless play in the Mountain West FC defense, Moreno Torricelli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roy Holman. The Mountain West FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roy Holman should have stopped the shot. If Virgilio Whitney had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roy Holman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moreno Torricelli in the 81st minute of play. After 85 minutes of play, Mountain West FC's Sammy Nixon made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aldo Hawk was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 89th minute Gualterio Aguirre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roy Holman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Mountain West FC's Jayson German got a free kick in the 90th minute. After 91 played minutes, Atlético Patoruzu's Willie Staton shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Roy Holman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Atlético Patoruzu reached it. Roy Holman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentim Leão in the 94th minute of the match. Roy Holman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gualterio Aguirre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
