The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gualterio Aguirres short, quick shot in the 5thth minute got Stratos Katsara to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 9 played minutes Seahawks V55 got a freekick which was hit by Valerios Kavatzidis. In the 12th match minute, Seahawks V55 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stavros Spetzos to maneuver through the defense. Gualterio Aguirre could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Stratos Katsara made a huge save. Sakis Samarakos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Marcelo-Luis Butcher came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Atlético Patoruzu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelo-Luis Butcher couldn't finish the play. Gualterio Aguirre had several of the Seahawks V55's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 32 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Stratos Katsara as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 35th minute, Marcelo-Luis Butcher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Seahawks V55's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Marcelo-Luis Butcher scored to the left of an out of position Stratos Katsara, making the score, 2-0. When Valentim Leão came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Atlético Patoruzu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valentim Leão couldn't finish the play. Gualterio Aguirre succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 42nd playminute. Valerios Kavatzidis kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Moreno Torricelli got free with Stratos Katsara in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The wind increased when Gualterio Aguirre made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Moreno Torricelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stratos Katsara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Prokopis Aspiridis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aldo Hawk having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Moreno Torricelli left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atlético Patoruzu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Stratos Katsara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualterio Aguirre, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Stratos Katsara didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Atlético Patoruzu's Moreno Torricelli shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 5-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Gualterio Aguirre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Seahawks V55's zone, Wiley Boyle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stratos Katsara came out of the goal and Wiley Boyle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Valerios Kavatzidis got his second yellow card in the match during the 77th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Seahawks V55's Valerios Kavatzidis got a free kick in the 78th minute. After some careless play in the Seahawks V55 defense, Valentim Leão kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stratos Katsara. The Seahawks V55 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stratos Katsara should have stopped the shot. Gualterio Aguirre took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stratos Katsara. Stratos Katsara dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. 87 minutes into the match, Seahawks V55's goal looked a bit too open when Gualterio Aguirre came free, but Stratos Katsara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Atlético Patoruzu booed when Seahawks V55 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dimos Zervoulakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gualterio Aguirre in the 94th minute of play forced Seahawks V55's goalkeeper Stratos Katsara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
