Adolfo Carrizo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 12 minutes into the match, Dolinka FK's goal looked a bit too open when Jack Grealish came free, but Dušan Tomčík reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Dolinka FK getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Matej Hurtiš hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jack Grealish in the 36th minute of play forced Dolinka FK's goalkeeper Dušan Tomčík to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38th minute Matej Hurtiš shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Carrizo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 43 played minutes Dolinka FK got a freekick which was hit by Ľubomír Medvecký. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Valentas Damkus managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Žalia Giria's supporters rose to their feet, but Valentas Damkus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dušan Tomčík breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Dolinka FK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Matej Hurtiš made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Martin Nagy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Carrizo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Matej Hurtiš sped through FC Žalia Giria's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Adolfo Carrizo.
