The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Boleslaw Gmoch during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tadeusz Scislowicz came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Murcia Promesas's Rosario Escobar. But to his dismay, Rosario Escobar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 24th minute, Eder Cienfuegos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tadeusz Scislowicz made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Gav Smith sent off a good shot on target. Joel Sirvent's late challenge caught a FC LSG's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joel Sirvent helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC LSG booed when Murcia Promesas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Sirvent didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gav Smith fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeusz Scislowicz having to interfere. A collision led to Murcia Promesas getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Edoardo Giacomini hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Gav Smith sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jan Frankowski charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jan Frankowski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FC LSG getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Jan Frankowski hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Murcia Promesas's Patxi Diaz got a free kick in the 60th minute. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Gav Smith put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tadeusz Scislowicz. In the 74th minute Rosario Escobar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeusz Scislowicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the game, Murcia Promesas's Gav Smith nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tadeusz Scislowicz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Gav Smith fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeusz Scislowicz having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gav Smith in the 88th minute of play forced FC LSG's goalkeeper Tadeusz Scislowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the FC LSG defense, Gav Smith kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tadeusz Scislowicz. The FC LSG fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tadeusz Scislowicz should have stopped the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC LSG players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Murcia Promesas.
