The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Godfredo Bernad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernest Cazimir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 6 minutes had been played when some careless play by Simared -MM-'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jaime Gagriel was slow to take the kick. During this time Medanito's players had a chance to rest. In the 11th minute, Constantino Mikeldi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute, Jaime Gagriel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcel Albuquerque took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petre Humă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Medanito's Marcel Albuquerque played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petre Humă in the 43rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godfredo Bernad in the 47th minute of play forced Simared -MM-'s goalkeeper Ernest Cazimir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Godfredo Bernad made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Medanito's Marcel Albuquerque got control of the ball when Manuel Dragoș tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcel Albuquerque made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mihnea Zdrehuş in the 54th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Simared -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Godfredo Bernad came free, but Ernest Cazimir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcel Albuquerque was a little too slow when Mihnea Zdrehuş got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 0-1. After 64 played minutes Simared -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Gheorghe Şerbănoiu. Godfredo Bernad hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. A collision led to Medanito getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Godfredo Bernad hit a great ball. After 72 played minutes Medanito got a freekick which was hit by Veremundo Acacia. Medanito's Marcel Albuquerque played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gheorghe Şerbănoiu in the 74th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Medanito's goalkeeper Marcel Albuquerque had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonard Ghiță. 78 minutes into the match, Medanito's goal looked a bit too open when Leonard Ghiță came free, but Marcel Albuquerque reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mihnea Zdrehuş got free with Marcel Albuquerque in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A nice corner shot did that Gheorghe Şerbănoiu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marcel Albuquerque quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The crowd rose to their feet as Gheorghe Şerbănoiu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcel Albuquerque. That made the score 0-2 in the 87 minute of play. Ernest Cazimir stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Godfredo Bernad's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Godfredo Bernad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Ernest Cazimir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eugen Mihăilă kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. When Enrique Caetano fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Medanito's protests and gave Enrique Caetano a yellow card for diving instead. In the 96th minute, Enrique Caetano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Simared -MM-'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
