When Ludwig Van der Borght, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 8 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Kléber Salles was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. SK Dreigoten's Nickolas Wittemans got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kléber Salles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Binjamin Ketelers in the 14th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Donatello in the 21st minute of play forced SK Dreigoten's goalkeeper Marcos Díaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 23 minutes, Mathieu Toussain made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Inter de São Paulo's Kléber Salles tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 25th match minute, Inter de São Paulo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dida Doutté to maneuver through the defense. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by Inter de São Paulo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mathieu Toussain was slow to take the kick. During this time SK Dreigoten's players had a chance to rest. Inter de São Paulo's Kléber Salles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nickolas Wittemans in the 31st minute of play. After having played for 35 minutes, Ludwig Van der Borght managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SK Dreigoten's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ludwig Van der Borght was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of SK Dreigoten booed when Inter de São Paulo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gino Mangueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 39 minutes, Kléber Salles successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gerson Coelho charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gerson Coelho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 42nd match minute, Inter de São Paulo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerson Coelho to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute, Mathieu Toussain got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gerson Coelho hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mathieu Toussain was the one to do the kick off. Kléber Salles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nickolas Wittemans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 60th match minute, Inter de São Paulo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dida Doutté to maneuver through the defense. Inter de São Paulo made a substitution. Milosz Korytkowski replaced Léo Simão. After 61 played minutes Inter de São Paulo got a freekick which was hit by Dida Doutté. In the 67th minute Nickolas Wittemans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kléber Salles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Inter de São Paulo's Kléber Salles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joppe Van Goitsenhoven in the 73rd minute of play. If Nickolas Wittemans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kléber Salles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nickolas Wittemans, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Qwinten Strupar scored 4-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kléber Salles, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. SK Dreigoten made a substitution. Arnout Worteleers replaced Binjamin Ketelers. Kléber Salles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joppe Van Goitsenhoven, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SK Dreigoten's Matthy Bouman was substituted for Ludwig Van der Borght. After a rather tough play, SK Dreigoten's Oscar Wijns got a free kick in the 94th minute. Nickolas Wittemans hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. There was no doubt that SK Dreigoten were the better team. SK Dreigoten's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
