Benigno Ur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celedonio Erroman in the 6th minute of the match. Benigno Ur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uriel Cristofor, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Aurelio Fernado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidro Manuelo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Capillitas's Aurelio Fernado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Tauro in the 16th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Quilaquina FC's zone, Uriel Cristofor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benigno Ur came out of the goal and Uriel Cristofor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Uriel Cristofor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benigno Ur having to interfere. The supporters of Capillitas booed when Quilaquina FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artemio Sarracino didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Sabin Ţintea sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Benigno Ur threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Sabin Ţintea this time. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Tauro in the 35th minute of play forced Capillitas's goalkeeper Aurelio Fernado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 37 minutes, Fernan Chorche managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Uriel Cristofor in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benigno Ur saved Quilaquina FC from getting behind. In the 42nd match minute, Quilaquina FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgard Peter to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Uriel Cristofor was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Quilaquina FC's Guaberto Gauargi got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Capillitas's Emilio Mikelar got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristian Tauro's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 56thth minute, Aurelio Fernado skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Capillitas's Uriel Cristofor in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Uriel Cristofor ran back to his position shaking his head. Uriel Cristofor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Benigno Ur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celedonio Erroman struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Benigno Ur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Capillitas. When Emilio Mikelar came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Capillitas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emilio Mikelar couldn't finish the play. Arsenio Jaizki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Aurelio Fernado made a huge save. 92 minutes into the game, Uriel Cristofor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Benigno Ur was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
