The Club Brugge fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicolaas Roeckeloes should have stopped the shot. 6 minutes into the match, Club Brugge's goal looked a bit too open when Steevy Gury came free, but Nicolaas Roeckeloes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 7 minutes, Karma Tarich made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Club Brugge's Nicolaas Roeckeloes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Karma Tarich sped through Club Brugge's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nicolaas Roeckeloes. In the 15th minute, Karma Tarich made a precise shot to the right of Nicolaas Roeckeloes. Club Brugge's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. In the 18th minute Karma Tarich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolaas Roeckeloes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karma Tarich in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicolaas Roeckeloes saved Club Brugge from getting behind. The supporters of Versannat booed when Club Brugge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sergio Geldhof didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Club Brugge's zone, Karma Tarich stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicolaas Roeckeloes came out of the goal and Karma Tarich tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Karma Tarich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Karma Tarich blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nicolaas Roeckeloes having to make a save. Nicolaas Roeckeloes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karma Tarich, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Brugge's goalkeeper Nicolaas Roeckeloes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 36th minute Karma Tarich shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolaas Roeckeloes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karma Tarich recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicolaas Roeckeloes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karma Tarich, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Karma Tarich had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nicolaas Roeckeloes. Club Brugge's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karma Tarich was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. After 47 minutes of play, Versannat's Karma Tarich made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicolaas Roeckeloes was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Club Brugge players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Versannat were winning 0-7.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Karma Tarich to strike the kick off in the second half. Karma Tarich might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nicolaas Roeckeloes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Karma Tarich ran back to his position shaking his head. A throw-in in the 54th minute of the game was made by Adolphe Leerbels with Rens Engelborghs as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 58 minutes into the match, Karma Tarich had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nicolaas Roeckeloes. Nicolaas Roeckeloes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Karma Tarich showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-10 in the 66 minute of play. In the 69th minute, Karma Tarich ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicolaas Roeckeloes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-11. Gwenn De Spiegeleire received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Bruno Nunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karma Tarich took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicolaas Roeckeloes. Nicolaas Roeckeloes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-14. Karma Tarich sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 88th play minute Karma Tarich came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Nicolaas Roeckeloes. 0-15. In the 91st minute, Karma Tarich got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 92nd minute, Karma Tarich left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Versannat fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-16. Karma Tarich's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicolaas Roeckeloes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 98th minute of play. Versannat's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
