The audience was convinced that Gunnar Dyrstad's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Özer Midilli was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. In the 24th minute, Haluk Pamir got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Haluk Pamir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Özer Midilli having to interfere. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Özer Midilli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Arif Bilge Başer managed to get in a good position for a shot. SakaryAşk's supporters rose to their feet, but Arif Bilge Başer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bakezda Mann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 44th minute of the match Robert Sandberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Özer Midilli showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Gunnar Dyrstad managed to get in a good position for a shot. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gunnar Dyrstad was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of FK Dampsaga booed when SakaryAşk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arif Bilge Başer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66thth minute of the game Gunnar Dyrstad who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SakaryAşk's Özer Midilli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 68 minutes SakaryAşk's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Robert Sandberg who took care of the corner kick. Barnaba Owsiak made a great header on FK Dampsaga's corner, it was just that SakaryAşk's Özer Midilli managed to reach the ball for a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gunnar Dyrstad got free with Özer Midilli in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Özer Midilli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gunnar Dyrstad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gunnar Dyrstad in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Özer Midilli saved SakaryAşk from getting behind. In the 84th minute of the match FK Dampsaga got a corner. SakaryAşk's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Robert Sandberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led FK Dampsaga's Robert Sandberg to fire away a dangerous shot which Özer Midilli despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The FK Dampsaga players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
