Dave Loiacono stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jem Jajecznica's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alessandro Ronconi got free with Leonides Durango in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alessandro Ronconi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Alessandro Ronconi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Roberto Nabar replaced Osoro Otero. Leonides Durango made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessandro Ronconi in the 83rd minute of play.
