An unexpectedly hard shot by Carl Wikander in the 9th minute of play forced Änglarna FF's goalkeeper Edgar Lindblom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 13 minutes, Carl Wikander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Soffpotatisarnas BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carl Wikander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Änglarna FF's Claes Bokelund got a free kick in the 15th minute. 23 minutes into the match, Änglarna FF's goal looked a bit too open when Carl Wikander came free, but Edgar Lindblom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ralf Blom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Carl Wikander put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Edgar Lindblom. After a rather tough play, Soffpotatisarnas BK's Bo Ros got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Bertil Näfver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 36 minutes into the game, Soffpotatisarnas BK's Carl Wikander nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edgar Lindblom made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Edgar Lindblom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carl Wikander in the 41st minute of the match. In the 44th minute Carl Wikander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Lindblom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan-Erik Bergström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Carl Wikander's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edgar Lindblom was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Änglarna FF's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Carl Wikander 53 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. Ralf Blom struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Edgar Lindblom didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Soffpotatisarnas BK. Bo-Erik Lundhberg hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carl Wikander in the 71st minute of play forced Änglarna FF's goalkeeper Edgar Lindblom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute, Ralf Blom got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Soffpotatisarnas BK's Uno Sjöström was substituted for Jan-Erik Bergström. Carl Wikander blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edgar Lindblom having to make a save. Soffpotatisarnas BK's Ralf Blom got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 88th match minute, Änglarna FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claes Bokelund to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Soffpotatisarnas BK's Börje Göransson got a free kick in the 94th minute. Esbjörn Ahlbeck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Soffpotatisarnas BK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
