The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Romeo Trigueros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Saverio Belasko's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. BEIJO CARNAVAL's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aristides Lehior in the 13th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Pierre Kooij could shoot a difficult shot in the 17th minute, which Godfredo Abarca however easily saved by the left post. 20 minutes into the game, Pierre Kooij cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Godfredo Abarca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saverio Belasko in the 24th minute of play forced Zulia F.C's goalkeeper Romeo Trigueros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Alonzo Lazcano managed to get in a good position for a shot. BEIJO CARNAVAL's supporters rose to their feet, but Alonzo Lazcano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romeo Trigueros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saverio Belasko in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Romeo Trigueros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 34th minute Alonzo Lazcano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeo Trigueros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, BEIJO CARNAVAL's Godfredo Abarca got control of the ball when Pawel Dybala tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bernabe Lluciano hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Saverio Belasko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Saverio Belasko made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Romulo Arias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pierre Kooij's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Godfredo Abarca read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Zulia F.C's Romeo Trigueros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Zulia F.C from getting a goal against them. After 63 minutes of play, Zulia F.C's Pierre Kooij made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Godfredo Abarca was left in no man's land by his defense there! BEIJO CARNAVAL made a substitution. Richard Peso replaced Romulo Arias. BEIJO CARNAVAL made a substitution. BEIJO CARNAVAL's Godfredo Abarca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pierre Kooij in the 67th minute of play. The supporters of Zulia F.C booed when BEIJO CARNAVAL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adam Jönsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. BEIJO CARNAVAL made a substitution. Salvador Lapurdi replaced Alonzo Lazcano. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adam Jönsson in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Romeo Trigueros saved Zulia F.C from getting behind. Zulia F.C's Iraido Termiñoso was substituted for Garoa Quejo. In the 85th match minute, Zulia F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pierre Kooij to maneuver through the defense. Zulia F.C's Romeo Trigueros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Jönsson in the 91st minute of play. Cibran Onil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Zulia F.C's Linus Löv got a free kick in the 95th minute. Lapurdi Palomino kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the BEIJO CARNAVAL players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Zulia F.C.
