After 27 played minutes ESKİŞEHİRSPOR got a freekick which was hit by Yavuz Selim Işık. Thomás Hoffmann stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hadi Güdeş's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. When Battal Özguc fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ESKİŞEHİRSPOR's protests and gave Battal Özguc a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to ESKİŞEHİRSPOR getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Battal Özguc hit a great ball. José Vítor Domingues scored 0-4 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Okan Akdoğan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rastko Santrač kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abdón Spöerer to make the kick off. The ESKİŞEHİRSPOR fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mangekyou Sharingan were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
