With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zhao Sen Yang in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ramón Rocha saved Kale SK from getting behind. Zhao Sen Yang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zhao Sen Yang in the 12th minute of play forced Kale SK's goalkeeper Ramón Rocha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- booed when Kale SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rıza Sözer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zhao Sen Yang might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ramón Rocha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zhao Sen Yang ran back to his position shaking his head. Hakan Atasagun's late challenge caught a Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The wind increased when Zhao Sen Yang made the kick off in the second half. Hakan Atasagun made in the 51st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Yağız Tekdoğan immediately put the ball in play. 52 minutes in the game Olov Ahlbeck did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Primitivo Grau. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Zhao Sen Yang managed to get in a good position for a shot.
