The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. The supporters of Saco FC booed when Cash Is King was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Well-Well Qadeishvili didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marius Ettori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolfo Gipuzkoa in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute Adolfo Gipuzkoa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marius Ettori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Cash Is King's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Alzamendi came free, but Marius Ettori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Peter-Jan De Brouwer in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marius Ettori prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Phillip Glerum made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Rikard Ekerot sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rikard Ekerot got free with Phillip Glerum in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The corner led Cash Is King's Carmine Topatigh to fire away a dangerous shot which Phillip Glerum despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Marius Ettori made an important save on a dangerous shot by Peter-Jan De Brouwer in the 74th minute. Marius Ettori came out of the goal and Chris Dhaussy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Phillip Glerum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmine Topatigh in the 93rd minute of play. When Carmine Topatigh fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cash Is King's protests and gave Carmine Topatigh a yellow card for diving instead. In the 94th match minute, Cash Is King was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carmine Topatigh to maneuver through the defense. Antonio Alzamendi scored 1-3 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marius Ettori, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the final whistle sounded Saco FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cash Is King.
