After 2 played minutes A.C.SHARKS got a freekick which was hit by Herminio Libertad. 3 minutes into the match, A.C.SHARKS's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno do Nascimento came free, but Marcelito Barovero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Nuno do Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Vila Mascote FC's Fabricio Lawrence got control of the ball when Laureano Lluc tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcelito Barovero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Magno Vaz's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Marcelito Barovero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Magno Vaz in the 13th minute of play. Fabricio Lawrence made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaf Ahlström in the 15th minute of play. In the 19th minute of the match Vila Mascote FC got a corner. A.C.SHARKS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sílvio Brito ran over to the corner to take the kick. Gustaf Ahlström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Fabricio Lawrence made a huge save. Marcelito Barovero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nuno do Nascimento's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. After a rather tough play, A.C.SHARKS's Horacio Lorenz got a free kick in the 30th minute. Marcelito Barovero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno do Nascimento in the 31st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuno do Nascimento in the 38th minute of play forced A.C.SHARKS's goalkeeper Marcelito Barovero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute of the match Vila Mascote FC got a corner. A.C.SHARKS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sílvio Brito ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Grady Esposito got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marcelito Barovero quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of A.C.SHARKS booed when Vila Mascote FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luisinho Trevisan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabricio Lawrence made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaf Ahlström in the 46th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nuno do Nascimento was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Hermínio Meireles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelito Barovero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabricio Lawrence came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by A.C.SHARKS's Gustaf Ahlström. But to his dismay, Gustaf Ahlström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 56th minute, Vila Mascote FC's Nuno do Nascimento ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marcelito Barovero. Marcelito Barovero yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. A.C.SHARKS's Benito Peruxu was substituted for Wilfredo Quintun. 60 minutes into the game, Magno Vaz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Marcelito Barovero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vila Mascote FC's Tudor Arjoca was substituted for Sílvio Brito. After a rather tough play, A.C.SHARKS's Benito Peruxu got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 73rd minute, Benito Peruxu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nuno do Nascimento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 76th minute, Hermínio Meireles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th minute, Gustaf Ahlström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute Nuno do Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelito Barovero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute, Nuno do Nascimento reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marcelito Barovero. The goal made the score 1-5. Faustino Quico hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Mahgoub El-Khateeb was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 95 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in A.C.SHARKS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 95th minute. Penalty! Vila Mascote FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
