In the 3rd minute, Costică Chiriloaie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 4 played minutes A.C. Milan got a freekick which was hit by Dumitru Nichita. Natalio Montrel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from John Lovera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Costin Giugiuc didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arsenio Peruanton went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Natalio Montrel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aurelio Mederi in the 15th minute. 24 minutes into the match, General Tanz II's goal looked a bit too open when Costică Chiriloaie came free, but Natalio Montrel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Natalio Montrel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from John Lovera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aurelio Mederi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 31stth minute, Natalio Montrel skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A well-hit corner resulted in John Lovera heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. A.C. Milan's Costin Giugiuc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arsenio Peruanton in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costică Chiriloaie in the 40th minute of play forced General Tanz II's goalkeeper Natalio Montrel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, General Tanz II's Arsenio Peruanton got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 43rd minute, Arsenio Peruanton ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Costin Giugiuc was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aurelio Mederi got free with Natalio Montrel in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aurelio Mederi made a kick off. When A.C. Milan's Costică Chiriloaie in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 69thth minute of the game Costică Chiriloaie who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but General Tanz II's Natalio Montrel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aurelio Mederi in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Natalio Montrel saved General Tanz II from getting behind. Natalio Montrel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costică Chiriloaie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Natalio Montrel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Lovera in the 77th minute of the match. The supporters of A.C. Milan booed when General Tanz II was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arsenio Peruanton didn't get a good kick on the ball. General Tanz II's Genaro Medina was substituted for Fausto Esquipula. General Tanz II made a substitution. Vsevolod Tovkatskiy replaced Isaias Laurin. When A.C. Milan's Aurelio Mederi in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye General Tanz II's goalie prevented a goal. Natalio Montrel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 91 minutes into the match, General Tanz II's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio Mederi came free, but Natalio Montrel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aurelio Mederi took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Natalio Montrel. Natalio Montrel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the General Tanz II players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for A.C. Milan.
