A collision led to Vanadio F.C. getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Errapel Hernando hit a great ball. Amadeo Carrizo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johan Kiewit, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Vanadio F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Hassan Collins came free, but Paulin Sequeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Johan Kiewit received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Amadeo Carrizo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the game, Vanadio F.C.'s Johan Kiewit nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amadeo Carrizo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Johan Kiewit might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amadeo Carrizo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Johan Kiewit ran back to his position shaking his head. Johan Kiewit struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Amadeo Carrizo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vanadio F.C.. Amadeo Carrizo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johan Kiewit in the 43rd minute of play. A collision led to Vanadio F.C. getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Giraldo Bermudez hit a great ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Johan Kiewit stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With his leg Amadeo Carrizo managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Vanadio F.C.'s Johan Kiewit fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Johan Kiewits short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Amadeo Carrizo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ingvar Valler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulin Sequeiros having to interfere. Vanadio F.C. made a substitution. After taking down the ball on Vanadio F.C.'s corner Maxin Oces fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Amadeo Carrizo quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urban Beck in the 84th minute of play forced Vanadio F.C.'s goalkeeper Paulin Sequeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes into the game, Urban Beck was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
