Dumitru Doloman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Makareus Picoulas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oscar Colon went to the cornerflag to take it. Oscar Colon made a great header on Viola Invest's corner, it was just that Yuquerí AFC's Celedonio Lastur managed to reach the ball for a save. 14 minutes into the match, Yuquerí AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Kuuno Tälli came free, but Celedonio Lastur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yuquerí AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lino Torres in the 22nd minute. The corner led Yuquerí AFC's Octavio Garcia to fire away a dangerous shot which Dumitru Doloman despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Makareus Picoulas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Dumitru Doloman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Viola Invest's goalkeeper Dumitru Doloman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Makareus Picoulas. 36 minutes into the match, Viola Invest's goal looked a bit too open when Zvonimir Boban came free, but Dumitru Doloman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oscar Colon hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Lino Torres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 45th minute Zvonimir Boban shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dumitru Doloman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Celedonio Lastur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig-Åke Gabrielsson in the 56th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Alvin Viru left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Viola Invest fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Dumitru Doloman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Makareus Picoulas in the 60th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Mario Jakobe kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Celedonio Lastur. That made the score 0-2 in the 62 minute of play. In the 66thth minute of the game Makareus Picoulas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Viola Invest's Dumitru Doloman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Yuquerí AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Kuuno Tälli came free, but Celedonio Lastur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Stig-Åke Gabrielsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Viola Invest's supporters rose to their feet, but Stig-Åke Gabrielsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Celedonio Lastur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yuquerí AFC's Anselmo Baleren quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Antonin Lauze, made in the 78th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Makareus Picoulas in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dumitru Doloman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Makareus Picoulas took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dumitru Doloman. Dumitru Doloman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Viola Invest's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
