The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Amedeo Mameli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Amedeo Mameli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Yetkin Osmanoğulları made a huge save. Murillo Peixoto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrey Kovtun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karaelmas's Yetkin Osmanoğulları proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Karaelmas from getting a goal against them. In the 15thth minute of the game Andrey Kovtun who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atlético de Blumenau's Murillo Peixoto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andrey Kovtun in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Murillo Peixoto saved Atlético de Blumenau from getting behind. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Andrey Kovtun sped through Atlético de Blumenau's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Murillo Peixoto. Murillo Peixoto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrey Kovtun in the 18th minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Karaelmas's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Turban came free, but Yetkin Osmanoğulları reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Amedeo Mameli came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Atlético de Blumenau fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amedeo Mameli couldn't finish the play. 37 minutes into the match, Amedeo Mameli dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Yetkin Osmanoğulları, 1-1. In the 40th minute Bican Cesur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Murillo Peixoto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrey Kovtun in the 42nd minute of play forced Atlético de Blumenau's goalkeeper Murillo Peixoto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Andrey Kovtun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Karaelmas's supporters rose to their feet, but Andrey Kovtun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Murillo Peixoto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Atlético de Blumenau's Haroldo Nazario got a free kick in the 47th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Yetkin Osmanoğulları came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético de Blumenau's Tomás Turban. But to his dismay, Tomás Turban quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. When Ahmet Rıfat Özonder came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Karaelmas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet Rıfat Özonder couldn't finish the play. Amedeo Mameli took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yetkin Osmanoğulları. Yetkin Osmanoğulları dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Yetkin Osmanoğulları showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amedeo Mameli in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 77th minute Amedeo Mameli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yetkin Osmanoğulları saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yetkin Osmanoğulları made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amedeo Mameli in the 78th minute of play. Karaelmas's Ahmet Rıfat Özonder got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Amedeo Mameli fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atlético de Blumenau's protests and gave Amedeo Mameli a yellow card for diving instead. After 84 played minutes Atlético de Blumenau got a freekick which was hit by Amedeo Mameli. A collision led to Karaelmas getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Slobodan Bokovac hit a great ball.
