The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fernando Belo came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Falkenhide F.C's Laurențiu Burghelea. But to his dismay, Laurențiu Burghelea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Horacio Quinteros came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Cantera Leales Sin Pagar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horacio Quinteros couldn't finish the play. If Laurențiu Burghelea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the match, Falkenhide F.C's Laurențiu Burghelea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fernando Belo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cantera Leales Sin Pagar's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Yusuf Şimşek was slow to take the kick. During this time Falkenhide F.C's players had a chance to rest. Laurențiu Burghelea made a great header on Falkenhide F.C's corner, it was just that Cantera Leales Sin Pagar's Fernando Belo managed to reach the ball for a save. After 27 played minutes Cantera Leales Sin Pagar got a freekick which was hit by Horacio Quinteros. Cantera Leales Sin Pagar's Fernando Belo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl Dreyer in the 28th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Horacio Quinteros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mattia Perin was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Fernando Belo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl Dreyer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes in the game Erhard Rieker did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Lüder Herbert. In the 40th minute Horacio Quinteros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mattia Perin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute, Laurențiu Burghelea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Falkenhide F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After 47 played minutes Cantera Leales Sin Pagar got a freekick which was hit by Silvano Criston. Cantera Leales Sin Pagar's Lino Orlo was substituted for Emilio Quinten. Silvano Criston kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Romulo Torres made a kick off. A collision led to Cantera Leales Sin Pagar getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Rogelio Mergildo hit a great ball. Mattia Perin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Romulo Torres's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Mattia Perin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romulo Torres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute, Romulo Torres made a precise shot to the right of Mattia Perin. Falkenhide F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. If Romulo Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The throw-in from Erhard Rieker in the 74th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Cantera Leales Sin Pagar's Flavio Polentzi. Falkenhide F.C's Kasper Axten was substituted for Olívio de Moraes. In the 80th match minute, Cantera Leales Sin Pagar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Polentzi to maneuver through the defense. Romulo Torres might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mattia Perin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Romulo Torres ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 84th match minute, Cantera Leales Sin Pagar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogelio Mergildo to maneuver through the defense. 86 minutes into the match, Cantera Leales Sin Pagar's Romulo Torres sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mattia Perin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 89 minutes, Romulo Torres managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cantera Leales Sin Pagar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romulo Torres was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
