Drunken Sea Monkeys's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matthias Bern was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Kevin Kivaste made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Washington Andrade in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Matthias Bern got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 16th minute, Washington Andrade ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kevin Kivaste was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in Drunken Sea Monkeys's zone, Matthias Bern stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kevin Kivaste came out of the goal and Matthias Bern tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Matthias Bern sped through Drunken Sea Monkeys's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kevin Kivaste. After some careless play in the Drunken Sea Monkeys defense, Matthias Bern kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kevin Kivaste. The Drunken Sea Monkeys fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kevin Kivaste should have stopped the shot. Matthias Bern blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kevin Kivaste having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Drunken Sea Monkeys's Meelis Uibomäe got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Kevin Kivaste showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cléber Marinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Stefan Wahlström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 42 minutes into the match, Stefan Wahlström notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Drunken Sea Monkeys's Kevin Kivaste. Kevin Kivaste was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Kalev Hansson fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Drunken Sea Monkeys's protests and gave Kalev Hansson a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of G A I S booed when Drunken Sea Monkeys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kalev Hansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-7 lead.

The wind increased when Matthias Bern made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sven Reiljan during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 52 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Drunken Sea Monkeys! The audience thought a goal was coming when Matthias Bern got free with Kevin Kivaste in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kevin Kivaste showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matthias Bern in the 60th minute of the match. Matthias Bern could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Kevin Kivaste made a huge save. 67 minutes into the match, Stefan Wahlström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kevin Kivaste. Drunken Sea Monkeys's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stefan Wahlström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. Kevin Kivaste came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by G A I S's Matthias Bern. But to his dismay, Matthias Bern quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. After 74 minutes of play, G A I S's Matthias Bern made it 0-11 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kevin Kivaste was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 78th minute, Matthias Bern ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kevin Kivaste was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-12. Matthias Bern fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kevin Kivaste having to interfere. Matthias Bern received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Kevin Kivaste tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Matthias Bern notched a goal, 0-13, to the right of Drunken Sea Monkeys's Kevin Kivaste. Kevin Kivaste was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. G A I S's attentive Herman Källberg managed to snatch the ball when Meelis Uibomäe made a throw-in in the 93rd minute of the game. Kevin Kivaste took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matthias Bern, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 97th minute, Matthias Bern reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kevin Kivaste. The goal made the score 0-14. When the final whistle sounded G A I S left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Drunken Sea Monkeys.
