The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Samuel Gartzi kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After 11 played minutes The Valar got a freekick which was hit by Alfred Hajto. 15 minutes into the match, The Valar's William Rigg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alvaro Abadia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. William Rigg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Alvaro Abadia made a huge save. With a little luck, Confederacion Argentina's Alvaro Abadia got control of the ball when William Rigg tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saul Koldobika in the 24th minute of play forced The Valar's goalkeeper Tristan Falco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. William Rigg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alvaro Abadia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute Cristobal Primeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tristan Falco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, The Valar's William Rigg ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alvaro Abadia. Alvaro Abadia yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. The Valar's Tristan Falco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saul Koldobika in the 35th minute of play. 35 minutes into the game, Saul Koldobika cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Tristan Falco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 38 minutes into the game, William Rigg recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alvaro Abadia. William Rigg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

William Rigg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alvaro Abadia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aulë Vala in the 53rd minute of the match. Samuel Gartzi made in the 55th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Santos Borre however managed to control. Alvaro Abadia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of William Rigg's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Cristobal Primeiro sped through The Valar's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tristan Falco. In the 67th minute, William Rigg made a precise shot to the right of Alvaro Abadia. Confederacion Argentina's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. 70 minutes into the game, The Valar's William Rigg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alvaro Abadia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-2. William Rigg struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Alvaro Abadia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Valar. The audience was convinced that William Rigg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alvaro Abadia was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Tristan Falco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Saul Koldobika in the 83rd minute. William Rigg might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alvaro Abadia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. William Rigg ran back to his position shaking his head. Alvaro Abadia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from William Rigg, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 86th minute William Rigg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Abadia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alvaro Abadia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from William Rigg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Alfred Hajto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Valar were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Confederacion Argentina for a fine match.
