An unexpectedly hard shot by Tolek Sidorowicz in the 8th minute of play forced Botafogo MZRJ's goalkeeper José Vítor Netto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ryszard Kowalski took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised José Vítor Netto. José Vítor Netto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tolek Sidorowicz in the 22nd minute of play forced Botafogo MZRJ's goalkeeper José Vítor Netto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute, Álvaro Melo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Botafogo MZRJ's José Vítor Netto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tolek Sidorowicz in the 26th minute of play. José Vítor Netto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Alagoano, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Botafogo MZRJ's Serginho Azevedo got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 36 played minutes Dreamland got a freekick which was hit by Ryszard Kowalski. Pawel Sobania hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Botafogo MZRJ's José Vítor Netto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacek Mikulski in the 43rd minute of play. Arkadiusz Siekierka was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 45th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. José Vítor Netto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tolek Sidorowicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Dreamland were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristiano Alagoano to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 50th match minute, Dreamland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pawel Sobania to maneuver through the defense. Gilmar Couto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 53 minutes into the match, Dreamland's goal looked a bit too open when Gilmar Couto came free, but Bernard Niemojewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Vítor Netto didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Dreamland's Tolek Sidorowicz shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-3 in the ordered_time% minute. José Vítor Netto was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cristiano Alagoano showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 64 minute of play. Botafogo MZRJ's José Vítor Netto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Alagoano in the 66th minute of play. Dreamland's Norbert Zjawin was substituted for Ryszard Kowalski. After 75 played minutes Botafogo MZRJ got a freekick which was hit by Jailson Capixaba. Botafogo MZRJ's Isaltino Gomes was substituted for Gilvan Falcão. In the 77th match minute, Botafogo MZRJ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jailson Capixaba to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Tomasz Wierzcholek kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving José Vítor Netto. That made the score 0-6 in the 79 minute of play. José Vítor Netto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norbert Zjawin, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomasz Wierzcholek in the 87th minute of play forced Botafogo MZRJ's goalkeeper José Vítor Netto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristiano Alagoano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. José Vítor Netto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sidnei Amaral hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. 96 minutes into the match, Botafogo MZRJ's goal looked a bit too open when Arkadiusz Siekierka came free, but José Vítor Netto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Botafogo MZRJ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Dreamland were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
