Ettore Di Silvio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 11thth minute tested the skills of Vignir Sveinsson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Arian Beqaj showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marijón Úlfarsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Luisito Antequera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vignir Sveinsson having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marijón Úlfarsson in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arian Beqaj saved Blanka FC from getting behind. A collision led to FC Barcelona getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Vigur Arnleifsson hit a great ball. Viggó Ólafsson made in the 22nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Marijón Úlfarsson immediately put the ball in play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
In the 51st minute Luisito Antequera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vignir Sveinsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Blanka FC's zone, Kristvin Logason stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arian Beqaj came out of the goal and Kristvin Logason tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Luisito Antequera's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vignir Sveinsson was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. After 58 minutes of play, Blanka FC's Luisito Antequera made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vignir Sveinsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Blanka FC's Ronalds McDonald in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Barcelona's goalie prevented a goal. A sloppy throw-in by Viggó Ólafsson in the 71st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Blanka FC's Waldemar Domaracki. Vignir Sveinsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ronalds McDonald's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Vignir Sveinsson came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Blanka FC's Ronalds McDonald. But to his dismay, Ronalds McDonald quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After some careless play in the FC Barcelona defense, Ronalds McDonald kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vignir Sveinsson. The FC Barcelona fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vignir Sveinsson should have stopped the shot. 88 minutes into the match, Blanka FC's Ronalds McDonald sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vignir Sveinsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luizão Cordeiro hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Blanka FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Franklin Moraes in the 93rd minute. Franklin Moraes made a great header on Blanka FC's corner, it was just that FC Barcelona's Vignir Sveinsson managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 94th minute Ronalds McDonald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vignir Sveinsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of FC Barcelona booed when Blanka FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luizão Cordeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Blanka FC had won after a very even match.
