The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cao Zhen took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julian Zakrzewski. Julian Zakrzewski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Kujawiak Włocławek's Julian Zakrzewski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cao Zhen in the 7th minute of play. A collision led to Joxa mé trasan getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Durval de Queirós hit a great ball. Julian Zakrzewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cao Zhen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julian Zakrzewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cao Zhen, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Cao Zhen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julian Zakrzewski having to interfere. Julian Zakrzewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cao Zhen in the 13th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Artur Sobczak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kujawiak Włocławek's supporters rose to their feet, but Artur Sobczak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ronnie Hellström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Julian Zakrzewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingvar Holmberg in the 16th minute of the match. When Joxa mé trasan's Cao Zhen in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kujawiak Włocławek's goalie prevented a goal. In the 36th match minute, Joxa mé trasan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ove Löfgren to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Joxa mé trasan's Sabin Macovei got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Cao Zhen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julian Zakrzewski having to interfere. After the first half Joxa mé trasan were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jaroslaw Klucznik was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes Kujawiak Włocławek got a freekick which was hit by Stasio Mockiewicz. Cao Zhen came free with the goalkeeper in the 53rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Julian Zakrzewski could save by the left post. 54 minutes into the match, Kujawiak Włocławek's goal looked a bit too open when Ingvar Holmberg came free, but Julian Zakrzewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cao Zhens short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Julian Zakrzewski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Cao Zhen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes into the match, Joxa mé trasan's goal looked a bit too open when Zygmunt Burufski came free, but Ronnie Hellström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Joxa mé trasan booed when Kujawiak Włocławek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cezary Derlanga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wasyl Ludzia kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Cao Zhen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julian Zakrzewski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. 73 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kujawiak Włocławek's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ove Löfgren was slow to take the kick. During this time Joxa mé trasan's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Joxa mé trasan's Ove Löfgren to fire away a dangerous shot which Julian Zakrzewski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Julian Zakrzewski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cao Zhen in the 74th minute. In the 79th minute, Cezary Derlanga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Kujawiak Włocławek's Julian Zakrzewski got control of the ball when Cao Zhen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kujawiak Włocławek's Julian Zakrzewski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Kujawiak Włocławek from getting a goal against them.
