Tage Fredhøj started the match with the kick off. Krestoffer Grahavn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petre Prisecaru in the 5th minute of play. Marian Maghiran struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Krestoffer Grahavn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Inter Craiova. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrad Ringsager in the 9th minute of play forced FC Inter Craiova's goalkeeper David Bîndean to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Harald Strener had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of David Bîndean. FC Inter Craiova's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Harald Strener was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Skovlunde Galaxicos's Krestoffer Grahavn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Skovlunde Galaxicos from getting a goal against them. In the 24th minute, Vasile Angelescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. David Bîndean showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miki Jungslund, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Marian Maghirans short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Krestoffer Grahavn to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Lynge Ardensberg kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Petre Prisecaru took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Krestoffer Grahavn. Krestoffer Grahavn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The audience was convinced that Miki Jungslund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Bîndean was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marian Maghiran was the one to do the kick off. After 50 played minutes FC Inter Craiova got a freekick which was hit by Dale Couch. 55 minutes into the match, Skovlunde Galaxicos's goal looked a bit too open when Dale Couch came free, but Krestoffer Grahavn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Krestoffer Grahavn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marian Maghiran in the 57th minute of the match. David Bîndean made an important save on a dangerous shot by Miki Jungslund in the 61st minute. Krestoffer Grahavn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petre Prisecaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vasile Angelescu in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Krestoffer Grahavn saved Skovlunde Galaxicos from getting behind. Vasile Angelescu struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Krestoffer Grahavn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Inter Craiova. Dale Couch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Krestoffer Grahavn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
