After a rather tough play, River de Ramos Mejía's Elliott Falcão got a free kick in the 15th minute. The nice shot from Elliott Falcão in the 22ndth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Marcus Jonasson had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. After 23 played minutes Avesta got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Låsberg. 25 minutes into the match, Avesta's goalkeeper Marcus Jonasson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alejo Maties. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alejo Maties got free with Marcus Jonasson in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Angelo Grabiel in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcus Jonasson saved Avesta from getting behind. Marcus Jonasson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Angelo Grabiel's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tommy Berg couldn't finish the play. The corner led River de Ramos Mejía's Celestino Eli to fire away a dangerous shot which Marcus Jonasson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 85th minute, Marcelo Arias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alejo Maties in the 86th managed to get into a good position. The audience was convinced that Alejo Maties's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcus Jonasson was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Angelo Grabiel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Marcus Jonasson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Angelo Grabiel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcus Jonasson. Avesta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Angelo Grabiel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. River de Ramos Mejía walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
