Cornel Gorgan scored 2-1 in the 49th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gustaw Tomporowski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Afşar Toktuğ to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Dumitru Tudorică got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gustaw Tomporowski was a little too slow when Maroš Rychtář got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 64th minute. The score was now 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Afşar Toktuğ in the 70th minute of play forced Maramures-MM-'s goalkeeper Ciprian Tătăruşanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustaw Tomporowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radu Podgoreanu in the 72nd minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Maramures-MM-'s Gustaw Tomporowski threw himself towards the right post 74 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cornel Gorgan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by 26 de Junio 2011 -QEPD-'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. In the 78th minute Maroš Rychtář shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustaw Tomporowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
