Stein Goos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Oliveira in the 3rd minute of play. Stein Goos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valdo Dantas went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Olivedos's Valdo Dantas got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valdo Dantas in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stein Goos saved Waterhoek from getting behind. In the 20th minute, Donato Oliveira made a precise shot to the right of Stein Goos. Waterhoek's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato Oliveira in the 23rd minute of play forced Waterhoek's goalkeeper Stein Goos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 24th play minutes Valdo Dantas shot 0-5, a short shot which went by Stein Goos and just under the crossbar into goal. When Olivedos's Valdo Dantas in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Waterhoek's goalie prevented a goal. Stein Goos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdo Dantas in the 32nd minute of play. Daniel Elsens hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Valdo Dantas sped through Waterhoek's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Stein Goos. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Waterhoek's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luisinho Ceresso was slow to take the kick. During this time Olivedos's players had a chance to rest. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valdo Dantas in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stein Goos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 47 minutes into the match, Valdo Dantas notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Waterhoek's Stein Goos. Stein Goos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Waterhoek players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Olivedos were winning 0-8.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valdo Dantas to make the kick off. Waterhoek's defense didn't have a chance, in the 56th minute, when Donato Oliveira scored to the left of an out of position Stein Goos, making the score, 0-10. Stein Goos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Oliveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 60 minutes into the game, Valdo Dantas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-11. Stein Goos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Stein Goos didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 63rd minute, which inside left pole to 0-12. Donato Oliveira succeeded in the game's 66th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-13. Luisinho Ceresso missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 70 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Stein Goos right hand side. Olivedos made a substitution. Kaká Passos replaced Valdo Dantas. Donato Oliveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stein Goos having to interfere. 81 minutes into the game, Olivedos's Kaká Passos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stein Goos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-15. Stein Goos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cássio Ferraz in the 84th minute. In the 91st play minute Kaká Passos came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Stein Goos. 0-16. An unexpected shot in the 94th minute by Kaká Passos got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The Waterhoek fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Olivedos were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
