In the 23rd minute of the match IFK Kik got a corner. Tiger Soul FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Krish Melin ran over to the corner to take the kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ralph Siemers during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 25 played minutes IFK Kik got a freekick which was hit by Ralph Siemers. After a rather tough play, IFK Kik's Lennart Johansson got a free kick in the 30th minute. If Alberto Bilbo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaston Hernandez was a little too slow when Ralph Siemers got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 1-1. In the 45th minute Olly Morgan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaston Hernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Martin Hibai came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Tiger Soul FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martin Hibai couldn't finish the play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Olly Morgan was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olly Morgan in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gaston Hernandez saved Tiger Soul FC from getting behind. Gaston Hernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Krish Melin, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After having played for 59 minutes, Olly Morgan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. IFK Kik's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olly Morgan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gaston Hernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guðberg Gudberg in the 63rd minute of play. Battal Gazi Acabay made an important save on a dangerous shot by Martin Hibai in the 66th minute. The Tiger Soul FC fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when Tiger Soul FC's Igor Rivero looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 73 minutes into the match, Tiger Soul FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lennart Johansson came free, but Gaston Hernandez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the IFK Kik defense, Igor Rivero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Battal Gazi Acabay. The IFK Kik fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Battal Gazi Acabay should have stopped the shot. Lennart Johansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Battal Gazi Acabay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Rivero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87thth minute of the game Lennart Johansson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tiger Soul FC's Gaston Hernandez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 94th minute Igor Rivero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Battal Gazi Acabay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When IFK Kik's Lennart Johansson in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tiger Soul FC's goalie prevented a goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Tiger Soul FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
