The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, North Pole Kickers's Folke Bure got control of the ball when Serafin Lekubegi tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 4th match minute, North Pole Kickers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrik Back to maneuver through the defense. Lorenzo Insigne struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Victorio Fresco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for North Pole Kickers. North Pole Kickers's Folke Bure played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafin Lekubegi in the 9th minute of play. Maximilian Gustafsson charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maximilian Gustafsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, North Pole Kickers's Maximilian Gustafsson got a free kick in the 12th minute. Victorio Fresco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorenzo Insigne, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Serafin Lekubegi in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Folke Bure prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Y va el tercero's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tadeo Satordi in the 19th minute. If Villiam Tholsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 26th minute, Tadeo Satordi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 30 minutes of play, North Pole Kickers's Villiam Tholsson made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Victorio Fresco was left in no man's land by his defense there! Folke Bure showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeo Satordi in the 34th minute of the match. Folke Bure stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Serafin Lekubegi's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. The throw-in from Guillermo Polentzi in the 38th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by North Pole Kickers's Leonardo Forsberg. The audience was convinced that Villiam Tholsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victorio Fresco was relentless in the 39th minute of the game.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Villiam Tholsson made a kick off. Victorio Fresco was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Lorenzo Insigne capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lorenzo Insigne really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Lorenzo Insigne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. North Pole Kickers made a substitution. Andréas Åkerman replaced Jan Wallman. Victorio Fresco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Villiam Tholsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute, North Pole Kickers's Anders Byström dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. In the 76th minute Villiam Tholsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victorio Fresco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute, Villiam Tholsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The North Pole Kickers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. 83 minutes into the match, Anders Byström dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Victorio Fresco, 0-5. 90 minutes into the game, Anders Byström recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Victorio Fresco. Anders Byström showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. North Pole Kickers's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
