If Cássio Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cássio Velasco got free with Ovidio Cutberto in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Ganix in the 10th minute of play forced Jumentus's goalkeeper Adriano Penha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ovidio Cutberto was out of position in the 12 minute of play, and Javier Fonticoba capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Javier Fonticoba really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Cássio Velasco succeeded in the game's 16th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Ongamira's zone, Javier Fonticoba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ovidio Cutberto came out of the goal and Javier Fonticoba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hector Ganix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jumentus's Adriano Penha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Ganix in the 25th minute of play. Hector Ganix took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adriano Penha. Adriano Penha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 31st minute, Genaro Havier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ovidio Cutberto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cássio Velasco in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute of the match Jumentus got a corner. Ongamira's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luisão Mota ran over to the corner to take the kick. Severino Chagavia was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Ongamira's Ovidio Cutberto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélio Corrêa in the 40th minute of play. Cássio Velasco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Ovidio Cutberto made a huge save. Javier Fonticoba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidio Cutberto having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Cássio Velasco made the kick off in the second half. Cássio Velasco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hector Ganix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Adriano Penha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cássio Velasco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ovidio Cutberto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Ongamira's zone, Luisão Mota stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ovidio Cutberto came out of the goal and Luisão Mota tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ovidio Cutberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cássio Velasco in the 63rd minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Jumentus's goalkeeper Adriano Penha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcelo Formerio. In the 68th minute Jumentus were awarded a corner. Luisão Mota went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 70th minute, Nicholas Dalen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th minute of the match Jumentus got a corner. Ongamira's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luisão Mota ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Javier Fonticoba heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. If Marcelo Formerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 79th minute, Tião Zanette hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 81 minutes into the match, Jumentus's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Ganix came free, but Adriano Penha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th match minute, Jumentus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicholas Dalen to maneuver through the defense. Ovidio Cutberto came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Jumentus's Hélio Corrêa. But to his dismay, Hélio Corrêa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Jumentus walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
